Alam/Methvin
Won a tough match in a three set knockdown drag-out fight. The lefty-righty combo covered the court laterally from fence to fence, letting very few past. This nail-biter came down to the wire in a third-set tie break in which each side had a match point before Bader and Patrick stopped the pawing and ended it in style.

Mikysa/Callen
Another victory in three sets, Todd and Erik pulled a classic rope-a-dope, lulling their opponents into a daze early and then charging out to win the next two sets. Erik was heard during the match mumbling about hating of Jagermeister, and Todd was heard setting Erik straight with, "Green is out, blue is in. Pull yourself together."

Knight/Dorrien
The third three setter of the day, this one unfortunately got away from us. After Chris and Brian won the first set, Brian suffered a nearly debilitating back sprain from which he and the team never recovered, despite Knight's emergence in shining armor. This team promised victories in the playoffs if they are reunited.

Weller/Lofgren
Lost a tough one. Sharing a cigarette afterward, sweaty and worn out, team Euro Enduro commented on how they just need to get into a better rhythm with each other. Anders is making a valiant effort to getting back into the swing of things after his season ending knee injury last season, and Weller has been very supportive.

Guggenheim/Breckenridge
The Dynamic Duo of the week. Powerful ground strokes, masterful half volleys and some verbal abuse intimidated one member of the opponents to the point that he couldn't hit a shot. Jason and Jeff also (fortunately) learned their lesson about calling the score before each point after repeated rebukes from this same bold if untalented opponent.
