RULES

Updated: 9/24/01 8:05am

Tournament format: scramble with four members per team.

Each team member hits a ball from each tee-box. Then, the ball with the best location is identified and all team members hit their balls from its location.  The pattern continues.

At least two drives must be used from each team member during the course of the round.

For every shot other than drives and putts, each member of the team can hit his or her ball from anywhere within the circle described by a club-length radius from the location of the lie being used, provided that the fundamental lie of the ball (rough, fairway, etc.) is not changed.  The ball may be placed one club length from original spot, but no closer to the hole (i.e., lateral or backward). E.g. if the ball is in the rough a foot from the fairway, each of the four players can move their ball to any spot within a club-length of the original lie that is still in the rough.

Ultra-competitive behavior is encourage; however, persons ejected from the course will not be issued refunds.
