Brackets - Thursday 3/15/01 at Noon (EST).
Payment - Friday 3/16/01 at Noon (EST).

$10 per entry (No limit on number of entries)

Payout:
   55% - 1^st place
   30% - 2^nd place
   15% - 3^rd place

Fee from lowest score entry will be refunded to entrant and this person will be scorned.

All entry money will be paid out. (No fees, etc.)

1. If you don't already have the bracket in Excel, click here to download it.  Save it to your hard drive before you fill it out.  Opening it directly from here and filing it out will not work.

2. Open the spreadsheet in Excel. (WHEN EXCEL ASKS IF YOU WANT TO UPDATE ALL LINKED INFORMATION CLICK "NO".)

3. Change the name of the spreadsheet tab to your name.
    e.g. Dave would change ##NAME## to David Clark

4. Complete the brackets by setting the result cell equal to the name of the team you think will win. (e.g. To select North Caroline over Princeton, type "=B31" in cell C32.) Also, enter your name, your phone number, and your forecast of the combined finals score and spread (for tie-breaks) in the appropriate cells.

Note: it is important to complete the brackets in this way because scoring is automated and depends on exact name matches. Also, because some cells contain hidden formulas, please do not alter any of the other cells in the spreadsheet.

5. Email the completed bracket back to Erik Mikysa. (If you absolutely cannot complete the bracket electronically, fill it out by hand and put it in Erik's box or office, or fax it to Erik's attention to 404-877-5201.)

6. Get $10 per entry to Erik or Matt Beckett by Friday the 16^th at Noon. See payment options below.

2. Or, send $10 via PayPal to Erik.
