Our plans have changed.  M.T. has a friend in NO who has offered for us to stay in his house.  Apparently there is enough space for all of us.  And it is free.   This means that I will probably give you your $40 back.  Below is the message that the guy wrote to M.T.

Sorry I haven't called you back about this, I've been really busy with finals. The bar you are going to... I've never been there, butI know where it is, and I've heard its a cool bar. About your hotel, its pretty far away, I'm not even sure if its in New Orleans or the surrounding suburbs. You don't want to stay there. You and your friends are more than welcome to stay in my house. My house is exactly in between Live Bait and the French Quarter, 5 minutes each way by car. Its perfect location for your plans. I'm driving home on Monday, I should be home by Tue night or Wed morning. I'll give you my keys there and directions for everything you need to know. I'll call you tonight. Good Luck on your finals.
