Short on numbers but not spirit, talent, and sheer drive, your Bellman defeated the lime green Loco Logos 2-0 on a late second half goal by Holly.

With only Russell, Kary, Erik, Holly, and Kary's sister Kaye (recruited at dinner to come play), the Bellman outmatched, outwitted, and outplayed the exasperated Logos for 48 memory-filled minutes. Erik anchored the back, enjoying his debut as goal-keeper with a stunning shut-out. Russell and Kary protected Erik vigorously, fending off wave after lime green wave of ever more anxious attackers. Kaye and Holly did a wonderful job of harrassing the limesmen and launched numerous counterattacks. Their brilliant combination play finally played off, as Holly beat the keeper low to the near post on a slicing run, earning the cheers (and hearts) of the standing room only crowd.

The game next week is at 7:25 pm against the Coyotes. The four of us are going to take the night off, so the rest of you have a good game.
